Summary:

Work within a Group to improve the quality and consistency of UX in Appian product features. Design and champion efforts to help the Group build more usable applications in Appian.

Responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of your systems and products
  • Work in close cooperation with other developer teams, our product team and the data scientists to develop new features
  • Drive technical innovation of our products by challenging the status quo
  • Investigate new technologies and invent new solutions to existing problems
  • Determine the feasibility of new features and requirements, always having the usability in mind
  • Write maintainable and well-tested code according to the latest best practices
  • Review and support the work of your team members, encourage everyone to abide by high software engineering standards
  • Mentor, guide and coach junior developers

About you:

  • You have a deep passion for frontend systems, their scalability, as well as their continued development
  • You have professional experience with JavaScript, Angular, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 or any SPA frameworks
  • Have experience with complex applications
  • Are well-versed in using unit testing frameworks
  • Have a good sense of User Experience and Workflows
  • Are up to date in terms of new design trends and frameworks
  • Fluent in English
