Our Business Technology team is looking for an End User Services Technician who is customer oriented, analytical, and has an interest in partnering with our software development organization on their infrastructure. 

To be successful in this role, you need:

  • To assist with Windows, Linux and Macintosh desktop administration

  • To assist in the maintenance of Appian’s IT network and server infrastructure

  • To assist in the administration of Appian's voice networks

  • To provide capabilities to improve Appian’s productivity

  • To provide initial technical support to Appian’s global employees via IT Service Desk cases

  • To provide on-call resolution for mission critical issues and document solutions within the case management system

  • To enhance overall system security, performance and availability

  • To assist with the lifecycle of end user hardware and software inventory

  • To have competency in administering desktop operating systems

  • To have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • To have strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

  • To have an interest in cloud computing

Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Ability to work nights or weekends, as needed, to perform regular onsite maintenance or on call duties

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
