As part of the Talent Strategy & Culture team, the Talent Engagement & Communications Partner will be responsible for developing, organizing, and executing strategic internal and external communications in support of all Talent and employee engagement programs. As the “heartbeat” of the organization, the Talent Engagement & Communications Partner will work directly with People team leaders and key stakeholders to create and deliver compelling content, ensure operational efficiency, and strengthen the company’s culture through clear and consistent messaging.

 

The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional with sound judgment, superior attention to detail, strong intellect and extensive writing skills. The Talent Engagement & Communications Partner will take abstract and complex ideas and transform them into simple and powerful messages. This is a hybrid role based in our U.S. Headquarters in Mclean, VA.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Design and continue to iterate on a comprehensive, organization-wide global communication strategy; ensure communication messaging and materials are high quality, accurate, appropriate and integrated with organizational priorities and in alignment with company values

  • Apply superb organizational skills to the development and management of high-level communications for both internal and external audiences; create and maintain content calendar to sure timely and relevant delivery

  • Develop all forms of communications to be disseminated across our global business, including: driving the creation and delivery of compelling written communications and presentation materials for Managers to Executive-level leaders (emails, Home posts, slides, scripts, content for newsletters & blog posts, messaging documents, etc.)

  • Utilize internal tools as appropriate to maximize communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, imagery and identity

  • Partner with key organizational stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values

  • Provide support to complex, fast-moving, planned and unplanned change change and/or crisis management 

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications; make recommendations and implement changes based on data analysis and feedback

 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or similar

  • 5-8 years experience in internal or external communications 

  • Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously, while continuing to maintain a team player attitude and behavior

  • Ability to anticipate and mitigate potential issues that may result in negative or damaging optics and employee sentiment

  • Ability to exercise high quality judgment, particularly with narrow timeframes

  • Excellent project management skills and demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple focus areas and contexts simultaneously

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across all levels of an organization

  • Ability to work in McLean Headquarters a minimum of 3 days per week

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate communications, change management, professional services or technology industries is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience producing a high-quality and high-volume of written communications with limited lead time

  • Experience managing and maintaining internal communication tools/platforms and senior level stakeholders
