Product Marketing Manager, Intelligent Contact Center

Appian is seeking an experienced and innovative professional to join the Marketing team in the role of Product Marketing Manager. This role is critical to articulating Appian’s value through the creation of new content across the buyer journey for the Intelligent Contact Center TM Platform.

We are looking for a product marketing manager who has prior experience writing and delivering business solutions content to the enterprise software market, specifically for the contact center industry. Our ideal Manager will have proven experience marketing to contact center leaders and a strong understanding of related technologies; including, business process management (BPM), Artificial Intelligence, RPA, case management, and omni-channel customer engagement. Enterprise mobile, CRM, and PaaS are all a plus.  

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Lead the creation of new content in support of the Marketing and Sales teams
  • Help to define and execute key campaigns
  • In collaboration with subject matter experts, develop materials and help to train Appian staff and partners on market and sales positioning for the Intelligent Contact Center TM Platform solution areas
  • Work across the marketing team to help set go-to-market strategy and support digital, partner, and event efforts
  • Strong writing skills and experience with a variety of formats; including blog posts, articles, datasheets, position papers, eBooks, infographics, and videos
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise stakeholders, trends, priorities, and challenges
  • Good understanding of the competitive and partner landscape

Qualifications:

  • Ability to create different types of content aligned to the needs of executive buyers in various stages of the buyer journey
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including presentation and facilitation skills
  • Prior experience using Google Docs and WordPress desirable
  • 5+ years of experience (preferably in an Enterprise Software environment)
  • BA/BS degree required
